I am pleased to announce inclusion of The Big Little Garden in the 2023 Open Days event. Tour my garden and four other southern New Hampshire gardens for ideas and inspiration. I have added quite a few more native trees, shrubs and perennials over the past year to support our native wildlife, so this will be a good opportunity for you to observe how these host plants function in a residential setting. Other exciting changes include two new recirculating water fountains that are gorgeous and provide additional opportunities for birds and small creatures to bathe and drink.
In addition to the garden tour, I will have a variety of New England native plants available for sale. Cash, check or Venmo will be accepted for plant sales with proceeds being donated to Kitty Angels a no-kill cat rescue, shelter and adoption agency and also to Merrimack Community Hospice House.
Tickets will be available for sale beginning Monday, April 3rd with proceeds going to The Garden Conservancy. I strongly urge you to purchase your ticket in advance and look for volunteers to check you in upon arrival. There should be ample free parking on Brackenwood and Decatur streets. Please be respectful of neighboring lawns and driveway access.
After touring The Big Little Garden, your next stop can be another one of my recent projects: Carol’s Accidental Garden which was installed in October, 2021. Carol continues to develop the property and has some AMAZING trees that you simply must see in person.
This promises to be a fun event! Find more information and buy tickets here:
