The Friends of Symphony New Hampshire is hosting a day of garden tours, including The Big Little Garden. Proceeds from tour ticket sales will benefit Symphony New Hampshire.
Late June is a beautiful time in the garden. The air is abuzz with hummingbirds, orioles and fledging chickadees and wrens. Plant communities feature romantic, delicate perennials intermixed with unusual annuals, providing a buffet of delights for our native bees, butterflies and caterpillars.
Explore and learn about using native plants, herbs and grasses to achieve a naturalistic garden aesthetic. If you are lucky, you might spot black swallowtail butterfly caterpillars hosting on bronze fennel and wild carrot plants. Even if you’ve toured The Big Little Garden before, it’s worth visiting again to see many new additions, including two ‘disappearing’ fountains. Join the fun and bring a friend!
While you tour my garden, you can also experience the polymer clay on glass artwork of Galina Szakacs of Conversation with Clay. Her nature-inspired bowls and vases are all one of a kind designs and make incredible gifts. Cash or check accepted.
Also in attendance will be Deb Wiseman, photographer extraordinaire, offering her stunningly beautiful cards of birds and New England scenes. Deb is an amateur photographer who loves being out in nature. She enjoys listening and discovering new birds to photograph and loves sharing them with others. Her photography is next level, so I hope you will come check it out! Meet Deb and purchase cards…before I personally buy them all! Cash, check or Venmo accepted.
One ticket gains entry to multiple gardens, $20. Tickets available here
